1. Organizing mass dog vaccination campaigns in Rampur and Shimla areas of Himachal Pradesh .
2. Improving Rabies surveillance by making diagnosis easy using field side tests and app based technology.
3. Identified pre- scapular region as the site for rabies vaccination.

Your Work's Impact
1. Mass dog vaccination has reduced the number of rabies deaths in humans to zero last year in Himachal Pradesh.
2. Making diagnosis of rabies easy ( using naso-planum tissue of animals for PCR , which is much easier to collect than brain tissue ) and enhancing rabies surveillance in the field .
3. My work has also been published by WOAH as I was a speaker in tripartite webinar organized by WHO-FAO-WOAH in its website .

Innovations and Learnings
What is innovative about your approach?I have for the first time identified the pre- scapular region as the site for intra- dermal rabies vaccination in animals .
I have for the first time in the world reported rabies virus from nasal tissue of a dead cow recently died of rabies .
Lessons learned (Positive)
Rabies control is possible with Mass dog vaccination program and its implementation at the grassroot level.
Lessons learned (Negative)
Rabies control in country like India is very challenging , which may be possible by initiating mass dog vaccination drive Pan India with special task force working on it.
