Dr Jack Reece

Dr Jack Reece has managed and coordinated the ABC and Rabies Eradication Project at Help in Suffering for approximately 15 years, contributing to Jaipur being a Rabies Free City for many years now. During this time he has collected vast amounts of data about the Jaipur street dog population and rabies, with many articles being published in veterinary journals and many speeches given at various conferences as an authority in rabies control. Dr Reece has provided training to thousands of students - veterinary doctors, compounders (veterinary nurses) and dog catchers in all areas of rabies and street dog population control, whether it be how to perform an effective dog population count or best practice in sterilization as part of rabies control. He has been happy to share all the information that he has collated over the years to all interested parties.

His main work has been in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India but the training and expertise that he has imparted to
so many individuals / charities means that his work has reached much further afield.
