As a epidemiologist and laboratory expert of rabies, Dr Zeynalova's role is to prevent rabies among people and animals. She is the Deputy-Director of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory of the State Veterinary Control Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which is the sole laboratory in Azerbaijan that carries out diagnostic tests, research and awareness campaigns for rabies.
She conducts training sessions for epidemiologists of veterinary departments. She runs education sessions in schools in various districts, and also visits villages to conduct community awareness among families. In simple language, she explains how to protect oneself and others from rabies.
