Boosting Rabies Surveillance: Zanzibar’s Success Story with Rapid Diagnostic Kits

While rabies surveillance is crucial on the road towards rabies elimination, new and innovative methods are needed to improve existing surveillance systems. The implementation of the Rapid In-Field Diagnosis and Epidemiology of Rabies (RAIDER) toolkit resulted in increased surveillance and sample submission in Zanzibar.
