Who’s inspiring you this World Rabies Day?

World Rabies Day, the biggest day in the rabies prevention calendar, is only a few weeks away on September 28th. Whether your planning is underway or you haven’t started thinking about your event yet, check out GARC’s website for new ways to help you get involved and make your event even better, including an event organising toolkit, banners and logos to download, modifiable posters and social media toolkits

Even if you aren’t  personally involved in an event this year, you can still tell the world about the rabies champions you know and ensure that their work reaches a much bigger audience. 

Send in a World Rabies Day Award nomination: If you know a rabies champion in your community, a person or organisation making a difference to the lives of people and animals, nominate them for a 2019 World Rabies Day Award with our quick and easy online form. Once the shortlist is announced on September 28th, you can vote to help select this year’s awardees. 

Register a World Rabies Day event: Spread the word about inspiring events and organisations near you. Attract more support by registering a World Rabies Day event on the GARC website, creating a unique page for each event that can be shared with others and also become part of the global World Rabies Day map.
