World Rabies Day awards: Nominate a champion today!

Are you a rabies champion? Do you know a great student, student group, professional, non-governmental organisation or government authority who has gone the extra mile to keep your community safe from rabies?

Nominate someone today for a World Rabies Day award  as thanks for their great work in rabies prevention.  Nominations close on September 7th. The shortlisted entries will be announced on World Rabies Day, September 28th, and the awards will be announced on One Health Day, November 3rd.

There are lots of resources on the website to make your World Rabies Day event a success; they can be downloaded here. Don’t forget to register your event and spread the word about your work.

We’re running a social media campaign over September called “Did you know...” that leads up to World Rabies Day. You can download the toolkit containing images and messages and mix and match to create your own social media campaign. We look forward to sharing your posts with our network.
